He has helped produce and market over 20+ events for TIFF. Since 2006 Brady has taught Art Direction and Design at The Art Institute as part of their Media Design Program.

Lindsay Nahmiache Festival Co-Founder

Lindsay Nahmiache has a wide range of international and national film experience working in the North American, European and Indian Film Industries. Lindsay has worked on PR campaigns at the Cannes, Toronto and Vancouver International film festivals as well as working with major Canadian film distributors on Western Canadian Film releases: Alliance Films, National Film Board of Canada, E1 Films and others. Lindsay holds an Honours degree (summa cum laude) in Communications from the International University of London, UK and runs a national PR company called Jive Communications.

Internationally, Lindsay spent six years living and working in London, England and Mumbai, India. In London she worked with E! Entertainment Television (Europe, Middle East and Africa), where she assisted in their Marketing and Sales/Distribution department. After this, she moved to Mumbai, India, where she was recruited by one of the top production houses in the country to produce content for their film and television market.

Lindsay loved the idea of combining her passion for film with the environment to raise awareness on global and local issues. Projecting Change Film Festival is a passion project that turned into a lifestyle - once you go green you never go back!

COLETTE GUNSONEXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Colette’s love of film has led her on a wide range of adventures over the past decade. These experiences include working in film and music video production and conducting Western Canada media relations for some of Canada’s top film distributors such as Mongrel Media and Kinosmith. In addition, Colette has spearheaded national marketing campaigns in Canada and the U.S. for projects including Naomi Klein and Avi Lewis’ The Take and Canada’s top grossing documentary of all time – The Corporation.

As Grassroots Marketing Manager for The Corporation, Colette coordinated launch events in New York City and San Francisco, managed hundreds of volunteers and led grassroots marketing activities in every major US city. She also helped develop the online debate and House Party Campaign for The Corporation DVD launch—and this was all pre-Facebook!

In addition to her on-the-ground learning, Colette holds a B.A. in Communications from Simon Fraser University; is an Account Manager for Jive Communications and an Outreach Campaign Consultant for Good Company Communications/Hello Cool World.

Colette believes a good film can change the world. Through her work with Projecting Change she hopes to help filmmakers connect to new audiences and connect audiences to local change-makers and initiatives.
